Only Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) certified SBE firms may participate on this solicitation.  The proposer must submit a current M-DCPS SBE certificate with the RFQ response.

MANDATORY PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE:  A mandatory Pre-proposal Conference will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at 9:30 a.m. local time, at the South Florida Educational Federal Credit Union located at 1498 NE 2nd Ave, Miami, Florida.  There will be a sign-in period from 9:30 a.m. to 9:40 a.m.  Potential proposers arriving after the ten minute sign-in period will not be allowed to participate in this solicitation.  Proposals submitted by firms not represented at the Mandatory Pre-proposal Conference will not be considered. 

QUESTIONS:  Written questions regarding this solicitation will be accepted until 12:00 pm (noon) local time, Monday, September 29, 2014.  Questions must be submitted via e-mail as noted below under the Cone of Silence.  Questions and answers will be posted under legal ad #115 in the “INFO” icon at http://ae-solicitations.dadeschools.net

Pirtle Construction Company is currently soliciting bid for the Broward College Satellite Chiller Plant – South CampusBids Due 2 p.m. on Friday, September 12, 2014. The project consists of a new 11,637 SF 2 story chiller plant building which includes control and office spaces – earthwork, site demolition, site utilities, chiller lines on site, landscaping, irrigation, tilt wall, concrete, precast concrete joist and stairs, structural steel cooling tower support, metal railing, roofing, doors, hardware, overhead interior finishes, and MEP system.
