Entrepreneurs and technology enthusiasts will converge in Miami on May 5 – 6 at eMerge Americas Techweek, where they will highlight the latest and most innovative technology solutions.

Miami-Dade County, with the support of The Korea Trade and Investment Agency (KOTRA), Enterprise Florida, Inc., and the Asian American Advisory Board, will lead a Business Development Mission to Seoul and Busan, South Korea, from May 10-17, 2014. The deadline to register is April 4.

This mission's purpose is to foster bilateral trade, commerce, tourism and cultural exchanges between The Republic of Korea and Florida. The U.S.-Korea Trade Agreement was ratified by Congress on March 15, 2012, and created opportunities for U.S. exporters to sell more made-in-America goods, services and agricultural products to prospective Korean customers, while supporting more U.S. jobs. It is expected that this Agreement will allow U.S. exporters to increase  exports to Korea by approximately $10 to $12 billion annually.

Sales and Rental Pre‐Bid Meeting and Subcontractor Outreach
Turner Construction Company is inviting Subcontractors for a Pre‐Bid Meeting on the Construction of the New Hertz Sales and Rental Center (approximately 4,000 sf). We will be soliciting Proposals for divisions 3 through 16. This Meeting is not for the Global Headquarters Building.

Interested bidders must be prequalified to submit bids on any portion of this project which may fall within their scope of services. Pre‐qualification Instructions may be picked up at the Pre‐Bid Meeting. The Pre‐Bid Meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the New Hertz Global Headquarters Project Site located at the Southeast corner of the Intersection of US‐41 (Tamiami Trail) and Williams Road Estero, Florida.
