The mission of the Florida State Minority Supplier Development Council (FSMSDC) is to link corporations
and government agencies with Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) to foster business development and
expansion.

The vision of the Florida State Minority Supplier Development Council is to create a diverse and inclusive
business environment where economic success is achieved.

ABOUT FLORIDA STATE MSDC

The Florida State Minority Supplier Development Council (FSMSDC) is a nonprofit dedicated to
advancing access and growth for minority businesses. The Council is one of 23 affiliate councils
of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC).The NMSDC has more than
1,700 corporate members and more than 12,000 certified minority-owned companies nationally.
As a liaison between corporate America and government agencies and Minority Business
Enterprises, the FSMSDC’s goal is to increase purchasing from minority businesses by corporations
and government entities, while increasing MBEs’ operating capacity through hands-on business
assistance, training and access to technology and capital resources. Central to the organization’s
mission is the principle that networks and relationships among and between minority businesses
and buyers from the corporate and government sectors build businesses.
The Florida State Minority Supplier Development Council represents approximately 1,000 MBEs
with $10 billion in total sales and nearly 90,000 employees.Through 2016, the Council, through
its corporate members, was directly responsible for more than $29 billion in products and services
procured from certified Minority Business Enterprises. The organization is headquartered in
Miami, with regional offices and staff in Orlando,Tampa, Jacksonville and Tallahassee.
