Dana Hill Dana Hill has managed the Supplier Diversity Program for
Program Manager Florida Blue, formally known as Blue Cross and Blue Shield of
Florida, since September 2010. He has more than 26 years of
Florida Blue supply chain management experience in several Fortune 100
manufacturing, technology and healthcare companies. In 2009,
Florida Blue’s spend with small and diverse suppliers was less
than 1.0%. By 2016, it was 7.8% of its general and administrative
spend. Prior to that, Hill partnered with James Webb, then-
President and CEO of the St. Louis Minority Business Council,
to launch Peabody’s Supplier Diversity Program in 2004.While
in St. Louis, Hill was named the Director, Minority Business
Enterprise (MBE) Development & Certification for the St. Louis
Minority Business Development Council (SLMBC), where he
managed MBE certification and training. Through partnerships
with Washington, Webster and St. Louis Universities, he
negotiated a targeted and discounted education curriculum for
MBE firms to increase their business acumen. Hill serves on
many boards, including the board of directors of the Florida
State Minority Supplier Development Council.

Desiree Hanson Desiree Hanson currently serves as the Manager of Supplier
Manager of Supplier Diversity Diversity for Moffitt Cancer Center. She has over 25 years of
supply chain experience, which includes approximately 15
Moffitt Cancer Center years administering Supplier Diversity Programs in the public
and private sectors in manufacturing, information technology
and healthcare. Under Hanson’s leadership, the Supplier
Diversity Program at Moffitt Cancer Center has received both
local and national recognition, as well as numerous supplier
diversity awards and recognitions for its advocacy and corporate
leadership over the years from the Florida Minority Business
Opportunity Center (MBOC), Central & North Florida
Minority Supplier Development Council. Hanson also actively
represents Moffitt Cancer Center in the business community in
leadership roles through involvement in minority- and women-
owned business associations and organizations. She currently
serves as a member on the Board of Directors for the Minority
Enterprise Development Corp (MedCorp), and previously
served as President of the West Coast Chapter of the Florida
State Minority Supplier Development Council (FSMSDC), and
Co-Chair of Premier’s Supplier Diversity Committee.
