The Annual Awards Gala is the Council's signature event which recognizes the achievements of South Florida's top minority-owned businesses, dynamic industry leaders and major corporations that are committed to Supplier Diversity. This upscale evening of Honor and Elegance brings together South Florida's business community. Guests will have the opportunity to network, while celebrating the achievements of minority-owned businesses and professionals that are shaping the future of South Florida. The Gala includes a Reception, Silent Auction, Musical Entertainment and Networking. Awards presented on the evening include Local & National Corporations of the Year, MBE Suppliers of the Year, Advocate of the Year, Buyer of the Year, Champions of the SFMSDC Award, Crystal Award and the Doing Well While Doing Good® Award.

This award is presented to a local and national corporation. The corporation of the Year demonstrates commitment to minority purchasing, technical & managerial assistance and support of minority programs.
The Buyer of the Year is presented to a corporate purchasing agent or buyer who actively solicits qualified MBEs and makes substantial purchases from those suppliers.
This supplier of the year has consistently provided quality products and services. The winners possess exemplary management, innovation and a strategic approach to future growth.
The Champions of the SFMSDC Award is presented to an individual or company that has excelled in the area of supplier or business growth.
The Doing Well While Doing Good® (DWWDG) Humanitarian Award recognizes companies for their civic, philanthropic and volnteer initiatives.
This award is presented to a business leader that is committed to minority business development and the community.
Nominate a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Corporation, Advocate and/or Buyer of the Year to win one of the prestigious awards presented on the evening of the Awards Gala.
MINORITY BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (MBE) NOMINATIONS
MBEs cannot nominate themselves or other MBEs; Only Corporate Members can make these nominations. All nominees must be a Certified MBE with the SFMSDC or any other NMSDC Affiliate Council.
